Easter is right around the corner. At our house, we don't have any kids, but we still get Easter candy for ourselves. C'mon — Easter candy's not just for kids!
But it is just for people.
Your dog might beg. He might plead. He might give you those big brown puppy dog eyes. Don't fall for it – he can't have your chocolate bunny!
Chocolate, of course, isn't good for dogs. Neither are raisins, grapes, and certain kinds of nuts. So keep the Easter basket up high — well away from your dog's reach.
Also, Easter grass (the colored plastic "grass") in many Easter baskets can be harmful as well. If a dog ingests the Easter grass, it can get stuck in his intestines. You might see some of the grass protruding from either end of your canine friend if he's ingested some. Don't attempt to tug or pull on the Easter grass. So no matter how much your dog begs, you hold onto your Easter candy for yourself. Buy your dog a doggie Easter treat that's made just for dogs.
Yup Chocolate will kill your dog so be really careful that your dogs do not get any chocolate. Really dangerous.
