I just returned from a three-day conference in Kentucky called Clicker Expo. It’s my fifth conference — that’s how good it is. This month’s newsletter is The Power of Teaching – Ideas from Clicker Expo and it’s about how powerful and far-reaching the science behind clicker training really is. To read how the science is being applied to beluga whales, dogs, horses, and even prison inmates, read April’s newsletter.
I didn’t travel with Tango this year (he’s gone every year with me!), and I was a little lonely there without him. The conference welcomes dogs (a cat even attended this year!). I had a lot more time to talk with colleagues and make new friends since I was traveling sans dog, but I did miss him quite a bit. I was quite happy to be back home surrounded by all four dogs! I brought back doggie goodies with me, so they were quite pleased to see me as well!
