Warning. WARNING. If you can't stand cute, stop reading now. We visited some baby Great Danes today. Wee baby Danes. Five and a half weeks old. Cute as a bug they were!
Raising Talos gave me Dane Fever. I'd always liked Danes, but I didn't know if I could enjoy living with one. Talos did a wonderful job breaking me into the world of Danes.
I LOVED the breed! So now that Talos is off being a terrific service dog, I've found that I'm drawn to them. A few weeks ago, I met a beautiful Dane named Macy, and her fantastic breeder: Ellenni Danes.
They had a litter of Danes a week or two before Thanksgiving and are 5.5 weeks old. I'd been craving a visit with Miss Macy again, and with new baby Danes, it was a no-brainer. My husband and I went over this afternoon and this is what we were treated to. Go ahead, hate me…

OMD…what a WONDERFUL sight….aren’t dane puppies the best!! Please tell me you were there to maybe decide to make one of those cuties your own!!

That’s the sound Mom made when she watched your video. She loves loves loves the lil blue merle with the black patch over his/her eye!
Danes are so sweet (I should know since I am one!)…love how each of them tried to get just as close to you as possible before falling asleep.
