Talos is going to be making an appearance in Falls Church, VA at the Dogfish Head Ale House on Tuesday, September 15. Service Dogs of Virginia will be hosting a fundraiser and we were invited to attend. We jumped at the opportunity!
Talos and I will be there to answer questions, offer petting opportunities, eat (!), and have fun. The event runs all day – we'll be there around the lunch hour. I think Talos' brother, Gryphon, will be there as well. You'll get two, two, two Danes in one!
During the evening hours, there will be great silent auction items and chance drawings for sporting event tickets, concert tickets, Knoll “Life” chair, personal tour of WJLA ABC 7, art, handyman services, hotel package, spa package, personal chef and many more!!
There may even be a few local celebrities stopping by to support SDV!!
And don’t forget about the live music from 9:00p -11:00p!
This all-day event will give everyone a chance to come by for lunch,
dinner, or later…and have a chance to meet real service dogs and learn
more about SDV!
