I'm trying NOT to think about how many days until turn-in day (11). Whenever I start to get sad and weepy, I try to find something to laugh about.
I realized at about 4:00p today that Talos hasn't been off the bed today – other than to eat and go to the bathroom. He's kinda lazy. That a dog can sleep all day makes me laugh.
My other dogs sleep a lot, yes, but anytime I move, they're up and right there with me. They're ready to do something.
Talos couldn't give a hoot about what else is going on. So long as he's sleeping – stretched completely across the bed, feet and head hanging off either side – he's content.
What a funny dog. He'll have an adjustment to make when he goes back to Service Dogs of Virginia. He'll be at the training facility all day and there's lots of activity there. He'll have his own crate with a big, fat, cushy bed, so at least he'll be comfy. But there's a lot going on there! Lots of puppies, lots of training, lots of people.
As I was looking for pictures for this blog post, I ran across so many pictures of T sleeping — or on his way. I could do an entire photo album of sleepy Talos shots, but here are just a few:

Xander has that same collar from that last photo even in red too! I so love Talos! And I’ve never met him. I can only imagine.

Talos looks good in red. 😉 It coordinates well with his brown spots. I bet Xander looks spiffy as well!

That’ll be Talos’ biggest challenge! 🙂
